What is Bright Sparks?
Bright Sparks is the Leigh Road Baptist Church Toddler Group. We would love to meet you, why not pop in for a chat and a cuppa at one of our sessions, you are more than welcome.
Bright Sparks is a Church-based toddler group, meeting once a week with facilities for children to play safely and parents/carers to relax with each other and chat over a cup of tea or coffee.
Where?
Leigh Road Baptist Church main church hall, entrance in Marguerite Drive.
When?
Every Wednesday during term time.
Bright Sparks Morning from 10.30am-Noon.
Bright Sparks Afternoon from 1.30pm-3.00pm.
Who is it for?
Mums/Dads/Grandparents/Carers and children
Age Range?
For child ages 0 to 4 (unfortunately we are unable to accommodate school aged children).
Cost?
£1 per adult and child per session, and £1 extra per additional children or adults.
Staffing
Staffing is provided by volunteers, there is always a trained first aider on site. The team are regularly updated regarding Health and safety regulation.
Aims
The aim of Bright Sparks is to provide a valued service for parents/carers in the local community in a friendly and safe environment.

Keeping things safe
Here's how we're keeping things safe for all!
On arrival you will be asked to sign in/sign up (if it is your first time visiting us).
Each session can cater for 45 children, with a maximum of two children per adult.
If the weather is nice, we will venture into the garden.
We have a ticket system on a first come first served basis from 10am. The morning session fills up quickly, so we recommend prompt arrival to avoid disappointment.
Coffee, tea, juice and biscuits will be served for thirty minutes, however you may bring your own snack with you. For the safety of those with allergy concerns please leave any nuts/water melon/salmon at home.
Why not pop into the wonderful 'The Phabulous Cafe' adjacent to the church garden at 189 Leigh Road afterwards for some lunch or a takeaway?
We are looking forward to meeting new friends, babies and toddlers and welcoming back those we have known before.
