Ten years of Dad's group
The group has been running for over 10 years and has seen a variety of 'Dads' come along and meet us at Oasis The Coffee House. From full time househusbands, some who work from home, shift workers and Granddad's and carers.
Where we meet
Oasis The Coffee House gives a warm welcome to parents and children and has a dedicated children's room, with toys and child friendly décor in the style of a jungle cafe, which you can visit anytime. You are welcome to buy lunch, a snack from the children's or main menu, or just a drink.
When we meet
We meet in school term time Tuesday 10.30 am to 12.30pm.
It's a group that is always changing, we do not have sole use of the room so there are often other children to play with children. Some people just pop in every now and then others are there every week, and some still come in for coffee even though the children are now at school.
