We had a fantastic day on Saturday 4th August celebrating a day of Olympic finals together as part of More Than Gold and the Local Leaders programme.

In the afternoon we saw hundreds gather together for a fun day, with bouncy castles, inflatable assault courses and face painting. Dads and children enjoyed racing on the assault course! Once again there was lots of action beamed live by the fantastic BBC to our Big Screen. Refreshments were provided by Oasis The Coffee House and the cake and coffee went down a treat.
There was also the the ‘Olympic’ Medal Podium where fun was had re-creating what it may be like to receive a medal in-front of the applauding crowds. Those photos are shown above.
