Womens Fellowship
Meets on Tuesday afternoons at 2.15pm to 3.30pm in The Stables Lounge.
Firstly a devotional meeting but for any ladies of any age who want to come and share friendship, a chance to chat and make friends over a cup of tea. Attendance range from 30-50 not all from Leigh Road.
We always open with a time of worship and then we have speakers, some scriptural some secular, sometimes slides or videos. We enjoy fish and chip lunches, garden parties, outings, bring and buy sales. Always ready to reach others.
The Women's Fellowship comes under the bigger umbrella of the Essex Baptist Women's Fellowship and as part of which, we are able to enjoy retreats, Festivals, quiet days and many other opportunities to get together with the ladies from other Baptist churches. The fellowship breakfasts are very popular and held at the different Churches.
In this part of Essex we are blessed in having a strong committee who are meeting regularly to ensure the on-going, updating and forward looking work of Women's "Fellowship"

The Lounge
Exploring life as Christian women. The Lounge is an opportunity for faith, coffee, laughter, friends, issues, opinions, discussions, questions, feelings and cake!
- Where? The Stables, Chalkwell Park Drive, Leigh-on-Sea (Leigh Road end)
- When? Tuesday mornings at 10am to 12 noon.
