The Sunday gathering takes place at 10.30 am at Leigh Road Baptist Church in Leigh-on-Sea and usually finishes by around 11.45 am. The gathering is also livestreamed through YouTube and Facebook.

What happens during a Sunday gathering?
Sunday gatherings are friendly, informal and accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. They include songs and hymns, prayer, Bible reading and teaching, alongside a variety of creative elements that help bring the Bible and its message to life.
A Sunday gathering isn't simply about attending a service. It is an opportunity to worship God together, discover more about Jesus, explore the Bible, encourage one another and consider what it means to live out faith in everyday life.
There is no need to know what to expect or have everything figured out before coming. Come as you are.
Children and families
Children and families are an important part of the LRBC community. Children and young people usually begin the morning together with the wider church family before moving into age-appropriate groups.
There is a parent-led crèche for babies and young children, while Junior Church gives children opportunities to explore the Bible and learn about Jesus through age-appropriate activities, stories, songs, crafts and games.

Being part of the LRBC community
Being part of church is about much more than what happens on a Sunday morning. Church is people sharing life, faith and a desire to see God's love make a difference in Leigh-on-Sea and beyond.
Throughout the week, there are opportunities to grow in faith, pray, study the Bible, build friendships, serve others and get involved in the local community.
These include Small Groups, prayer gatherings, courses, men's and women's groups, activities for children and young people, and a range of community activities.
Small groups provide a more informal setting to explore faith, study the Bible, pray and support one another during the week.
The What's On section is also a good way to discover activities, events and opportunities taking place across the LRBC community.
