Join us at Leigh Road Baptist Church on Sunday 11 November at 10.30pm as we join with those around the country and indeed across the world in remembrance of the members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty since World War I.
The service is designed to be appropriate for all ages. Families and children are very welcome and for the very young a creche is provided.
We hope to go live on our big screen to the Cenotapha in London, to join with the country in observing 2 minutes silence for the fallen at 11am.
The service will be lead by the Family Service team and will feature songs, drama, games, prayer, bible exploration, and live footage from London.

At Leigh Road Baptist Church we were excited to welcome Guest Speaker Roy Searle of the Northumbria Community to the morning service on Sunday 28th October. The morning met all it promised to be as we were inspired by God through Roy in regard to going beyond the boundaries – it was a great time worshipping together.
Coffee, tea and delicious cakes were enjoyed by Mum’s and Dad’s from the Pre-School, regulars to the LRBC Coffee Morning, as well as passers by who saw the opportunity for a nice cup of Fairtrade coffee and a sit down, with good company.
